In coordination with The Crossing Church of Tampa, the Project 81 team assisted in packaging over 250,000 meals for Haiti. The event was held over a two day period, where thousands of church and community members rallied together to make the dream a reality. Project 81 also arranged for Deputy Mayor, Jean Gael, to attend the event and even speak to The Crossing Church during the Saturday night service. The Mayor and his wife were able to meet Senior Pastor Greg Dumas of The Crossing Church. These meals will be shipped and delivered to Destiny Village Orphanage in late November, and will later be delivered to selected schools and communities throughout central Haiti. A thank you goes out to everyone who participated with the event.
